      • Start the application as soon as possible to allow time for third-party responses. If you start too late, they may not have time to submit a response and your application may be incomplete. Incomplete applications are disqualified. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that all required documents and third-party submissions are submitted before the deadline.

      2. What is an eligibility quiz?

      • The eligibility quiz matches your answers to the scholarships you qualify for, and if you believe you are eligible for a specific scholarship but did not match, you can request a review of your eligibility quiz. The deadline to request a review of the eligibility quiz is one full week before the application deadline.

      3. I completed my application. What is the next step in the process?

      • After submitting your application, it is essential to follow up with your third parties to ensure that they submit the requested forms before the deadline.

      • A teacher and/or guidance counselor is required to submit a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) or Transcript Upload on your behalf as part of the application process.

      5. I received an email stating my application is incomplete. What does an incomplete application mean?

      • The email will state what action is required. Most commonly, you may have to resubmit a document or follow up with your third-party responders to ensure they submit a response before the deadline.

      6. What if I do not have a digital copy of my document? Can I use a screenshot?

      • If you do not have access to a scanner, you can upload your documents using a smartphone, a school's computer lab, or a public library. Partial screenshots and poor-quality documents will not be accepted.
      • If you receive a physical Letter of Recommendation, you must ask your Third Party to use our online form.

      • Everything must be submitted online. (Including, but not limited to, supporting documentation, letter of recommendation, transcript). If you receive a courtesy email asking you to resubmit a document, you must resubmit online. Do not submit or resubmit documents by email.

      9. When will I know if I was approved for a scholarship?

      • If you are selected, notifications will be sent by email mid-late summer. It is required students, and their institution sign an agreement prior to funds being disbursed. Accepting a scholarship is a multi-step process. Deadlines will be indicated in the congratulatory email, please do not delay in responding. Remember to check your spam folder.

      10. Is there a limit to the number of scholarships I can receive?

      • Students can only receive one award total from The Foundation even if the student applied to multiple scholarships.

      11. When do I receive scholarship payment?

      • Scholarship payments will be sent to the student's school no later than August 31st.
